I guess I could say that its been a tough couple of days for me. Addis has his first runny nose which I am not sure if its going to turn into a cold or not since he did have a bit of a fever before I put him to bed but man is it ever hard to see your baby sick. He really only breathes out of his nose so for him to be so congested is very hard. He tries to breathe but he cant so he kept on waking up and tossing and turning for most of the night. I let him sleep with me and kicked Dave out of the bed cause I wanted to watch him to make sure he would be ok and I hardly slept cause I was literally watching him. So I was tired today but that's ok cause this is life in mommyhood...He was fine for parts of the day today since I was able to give him medicine to help with the congestion. Let me tell you that some of the stuff they have for babies to help with that is hard to do. We have this snotty sucker that is a piece of crap since you cant get to the snotty cause the whole is huge and Addis nostril's are so small. There is also this saline solution that you are supposed to put in their nose with this dispenser that goes in the nostril.. Once again another hard thing to do if your baby is trying to squirm off your lap or away from you because you are trying to stick something up his nose! But hopefully he will get better in a couple days before we have to head to the grandparents for Easter. I just hate seeing him struggle and want to make him better right now but I guess I don't have magic healing powers do I??

I'm so sorry to hear that your little man is sick - that must be the hardest thing for sure!
Hopefully he gets better in time for your travels this weekend. Even if he still feels under the weather, he'll still be the hit of the weekend.

btw - i have no doubt that your tender loving care will be the best medicine for him. Even if he is sick for awhile, nobody will comfort him like his mommy :)
